In the immediate future, in order to overcome the shortage of blood and ensure the blood supply to 74 hospitals in the Southwest region, the Department of Health of Can Tho City has requested the Can Tho Hematology and Blood Transfusion Hospital to report on the needs of the patients˳ required blood, platelets, blood bags and testing chemicals to use in 1 month… to plan for support and coordination from other blood transfusion centers˳
According to the official dispatch of the Department of Health of Can Tho City, the situation has now been resolved by the National Institute of Hematology – Blood Transfusion, Cho Ray Hospital and the Ho Chi Minh City Blood Transfusion – Hematology Hospital; supply blood and blood products to Can Tho Hospital of Hematology – Blood Transfusion within the next 3 months˳
In parallel with receiving coordination and support from the upper level, the Department of Health of Can Tho suggested that the Can Tho Hematology and Blood Transfusion Hospital when receiving blood must organize immediate coordination for hospitals in the area within the scope of the supply chain˳ grant˳
