Doctor Hai said breast augmentation filler injections can lead to many complications˳ “Mild cases can cause redness, bruising, pain, allergies (itching, rash) in the chest area˳ In severe cases, if injected into a blood vessel, an artery can cause embolism and necrosis of tissue around the chest area˳ , mammary glands, nipples, later causing severe breast deformity˳

If injected into a vein, the filler travels to the lungs, causing pulmonary embolism, acute pulmonary edema, respiratory failure, and death˳

Cases of anaphylaxis are quite rare˳ In addition, the victims may have late complications such as necrosis of the breast (necrosis of the milk glands, soft tissues, skin, and nipples), which can lead to blood infection leading to death, “said Doctor Hai˳

Fillers are not used for breast augmentation, buttock augmentation

According to cosmetologists, injecting fillers, especially in large quantities to enhance breasts, buttock augmentation, has a high risk of dangerous complications˳

Dr˳ Hai added that fillers are slowly metabolized and absorbed by the body˳ Specifically, injectable silicone is not FDA-approved for any cosmetic procedure˳ Silicone injections can lead to prolonged pain, infection, and serious damage such as permanent scarring and disfigurement, embolism, stroke, and death˳
