Doctor Nguyen Thanh Nhut, head of the interventional cardiology department of Dong Nai General Hospital, said that because the patient had had a cardiac arrest, the doctors immediately shocked him 6 times and used high-dose vasopressors (drugs) adrenaline)˳

According to Dr˳ Nhut, although the patient did not have too much damage to the coronary artery, his condition was very serious, progressing quickly, and it is possible for the heart to stop again if it is 5-10 minutes late˳

The team of doctors skipped administrative procedures, urgently opened the heart and intervened to save the patient˳

“The normal procedure before going to the cardiac catheterization room must explain to family members about the benefits, risks, indications, costs… However, this case is too urgent, if left for too long, it can cause brain damage˳ difficult to recover, even sudden death,” said Dr˳ Nhut˳

Nhat also said that after nearly a week of treatment and monitoring, the patient’s health has now recovered almost completely, with no sequelae, and can be discharged from the hospital in the next few days˳
