78 Vehicles Impounded for Cloud-Hunting Disorder

On April 14th, the Dak Nong Provincial Police confirmed the impoundment of 78 vehicles belonging to a group of teenagers who gathered at a pine forest for “cloud hunting” in Dak Song district, disrupting public order.

Authorities observed that a group of teenagers aged 15-25, originating from Dak Lak and Dak Nong provinces, frequently visited the pine forest area in Nam N’Jang commune, Dak Song district. The area’s scenic beauty, particularly its cloud formations, attracted them for photo and video shoots.

During their gatherings, the teenagers engaged in reckless motorcycle riding, weaving through traffic, and speeding, disrupting public order.

On April 13th, the Dak Nong Provincial Police Traffic Department, along with other relevant departments, conducted checks and issued 78 violations for these disruptive behaviors.

Police noted various violations, including operating motorcycles without proper licenses, unauthorized modifications to vehicles, and lack of registration documents and license plates. Blood alcohol and drug tests were conducted on all 78 individuals, with one individual found to be in violation of alcohol limits.

The impounded vehicles are now subject to further processing.
