Historical Significance and Inspirational Message

In his opening speech, Minister of MCST Nguyen Van Hung emphasized that the program not only serves as a reminder of the heroic history of the Party and the nation but also as a deep tribute to President Ho Chi Minh, the genius leader, and the martyrs who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the country.

The Minister affirmed: “This program is a symphony of faith, pride, and aspiration. A strong nation is not just built on economic potential but also on the depth of its culture and national identity.”

Three Main Chapters of the Program

Inspired by President Ho Chi Minh’s teachings, “Culture illuminates the path for the people,” the program was structured into three main chapters: Beacon of Guidance, Beacon of Renewal, and Era of Light. Each chapter conveyed profound messages through diverse artistic languages and creative techniques.

Chapter 1: Beacon of Guidance

The program opened with the scene Dark Night and the documentary Light in the Dark Night, which depicted the dark years of the nation under oppression. However, the revolutionary torch lit by the Communist Party of Vietnam guided the entire nation out of darkness, ushering in an era of independence and freedom.

Chapter 2: Beacon of Renewal

Key historical milestones were brought to life through songs such as Together We March (Dinh Nhu), Youth to the Frontline (Tran Tien), August 19 (Xuan Oanh), and Marching Song (Van Cao). These works transported the audience back to the heroic period of the Vietnamese revolution, from the uprising to seize power to the day of independence.

Chapter 3: Era of Light

The medley Melodies of the Homeland, Party Flag, and Red Blood Yellow Skin showcased the achievements of the nation over 40 years of renewal. Performances by Artist Member of Merit Quoc Hung, the National Academy of Music choir, and talented artists like Trong Tan, Duong Hoang Yen, Duc Phuc, and Erik stirred emotions and rekindled national pride.
