“Vietnamese Soul” Exhibition: A Confluence of Artistic Excellence
Organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Vietnamese Embassy in the UAE, the exhibition aims to promote the beauty of Vietnam’s culture and art. It features paintings by renowned artists such as Đặng Phương Việt, Khổng Đỗ Duy, Nguyễn Thanh Quang, Đặng Thị Thu An, and Nguyễn Đức Huy, alongside Miss Ngoc Han’s ao dai fashion show.
Ngoc Han brought four ao dai collections inspired by paintings, blending art with fashion. She collaborated closely with artist Đặng Phương Việt to conceptualize unique pieces for the event. Initially, she requested permission to print lotus paintings on the ao dai, but the artist proposed painting directly onto four ao dai and one jacket.
“This is the first time I’ve experienced having a famous artist paint on the ao dai I’m wearing. Watching the artist work, I could appreciate his meticulousness and talent. Known for his lotus-themed works, each painting on the ao dai is incredibly impressive, both ethereal and emotionally rich,” Ngoc Han shared.

Ao Dai Reflecting Vietnamese Cultural Heritage
In addition to her ao dai collections inspired by paintings, Miss Ngoc Han created ao dai inspired by the UAE’s coat of arms and traditional motifs. This not only honors Vietnamese culture but also demonstrates her deep appreciation for the Middle Eastern region. She has personally explored the cultures of various Middle Eastern countries during her husband Phu Dat’s long-term assignments there.
Three other ao dai collections Ngoc Han showcased include designs featuring Kim Hoang folk paintings, Tet At Ty ao dai, and Hanoi-inspired ao dai (featuring works by Le Thiet Cuong). These collections left a lasting impression on attendees.
Miss Ngoc Han’s Journey of Personal Growth
Currently, Miss Ngoc Han is pursuing a master’s degree in Applied Vietnamese Art Theory and History at the Hanoi Industrial Fine Arts University. She also serves as a strategic communication advisor for the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum. Working with artists has enriched her knowledge in the field of fine arts.
Fifteen years since winning the Miss Vietnam crown in 2010, Ngoc Han continues to maintain her prominence through social and cultural contributions. This year, she aims to complete her master’s program and finalize her thesis. Additionally, the 1989-born beauty hopes to welcome a child to complete her family.
Conclusion
Miss Ngoc Han is more than just a representative of Vietnamese women’s beauty; she is also a talented designer and an inspiration for Vietnamese art. Through the “Vietnamese Soul” exhibition, she has contributed to promoting Vietnamese culture and art globally. We hope her efforts will continue to resonate deeply with her fans.
