On the evening of November 14, at Vietnam International Fashion Week (VIFW) Fall – Winter 2025, Huynh Nguyen Mai Phuong – Miss World Vietnam 2022 – attracted attention by returning to open the show with the song Queenergy.

In the opening segment, Mai Phuong appeared with striking makeup, paired with a burgundy fur coat, a black bustier, black shorts, highlighted by a sparkling studded leather belt and fashionable gloves.
Her sharp, sensual image and confident demeanor created a captivating performance, entirely different from the gentle appearance usually seen in beauty queens.
On the Queenergy stage, Mai Phuong presented a dynamic, powerful image with an international style.
From her determined gaze to her fashionable outfit choices, the performance showcased her maturity and resolve in her artistic direction.
The intense choreography, coordinated lighting, and bold fashion style made the show explode with excitement.
Huynh Nguyen Mai Phuong was crowned Miss World Vietnam 2022, also winning the Talent Award for her singing ability.
At Miss World 2023, she impressed with her intelligence, friendliness, and positive energy.
After leaving her former management company and joining a new agency with singer Phuong My Chi, Mai Phuong dedicated 15 months to music: studying vocal techniques, songwriting, self-recording, and completing an album. The song Queenergy is part of this album, and the entire production has been revised multiple times to achieve the best quality.
Sharing about the meaning of the song, Mai Phuong once stated: “Queenergy reflects my journey of discovering inner strength. This is an energy source that every woman can awaken when she knows how to properly care for and love herself; we will shine from within.”
She recounted that since childhood, her mother always taught her to preserve her beauty and care for herself as a way to cherish nature’s gift. This attention became the foundation that helped her understand that confidence comes from within.
Mai Phuong also revealed that she was particularly impressed by the story of Marilyn Monroe (1926-1962) – the American film and fashion icon – renowned for her captivating beauty, alluring demeanor, and timeless influence.
“When walking through a crowded street, Marilyn only took a few seconds to “switch on” and immediately became the center of attention. However, this was not due to her attire or appearance, but from the inner energy she exuded. That is something every woman can learn to activate,” the beauty queen said.
She also realized she experienced something similar: when walking through a crowded street with an ordinary demeanor, few people recognized her. But by simply adjusting her posture, lifting her chin, and maintaining a confident aura, she immediately became more noticeable.
This spirit is fully encapsulated by Mai Phuong in the song Queenergy, with the main lyric: “Switch on all of us are beautiful queen” (Hãy bật nguồn năng lượng bên trong của tất cả chúng ta, những nữ hoàng xinh đẹp), serving as a reminder that every woman can awaken her inner energy and confidently shine.
