On the afternoon of February 14, a representative from Vy Da Ward, Thuan Hoa District, Hue City, confirmed that authorities are investigating a fire incident at Block A2 of the Song Huong Hotel, located on Nguyen Sinh Cung Street.
According to initial reports, the blaze erupted at noon in a second-floor room within Block A2 of the hotel.
Students staying at the affected building were moved to alternative housing (Photo: Cao Tiến).
Upon receiving reports from local residents, the Hue City Police promptly dispatched personnel and equipment to the scene to extinguish the fire.
At the time of the incident, the Song Huong Hotel was hosting several students from a university in Ho Chi Minh City who were there for an internship program.

Eyewitnesses at the scene stated that the fire may have been caused by a guest’s phone exploding while charging, which then ignited bedding and curtains.
Fortunately, no injuries or casualties were reported in the incident.
