Accordingly, in a decision issued on November 13, the Drug Administration of Vietnam decided to suspend the circulation and recall nationwide 22 types of cosmetic products from Dai Cat A International Co., Ltd. in Phu Nhuan, Ho Chi Minh City.
The products include: Queendoes essential PDRN serum, The Skin House crystal whitening plus serum; Queendoes Lucia serum, The Skin House wrinkle collagen toner, DR.IASO triple-m hydrating cream, Hyaluronic 6000 ampoule, Snail mucin 5000 Ampoule, among others.
Various cosmetic products, including skincare creams and shampoos, being recalled nationwide.
On the same day, the agency issued a decision to suspend the circulation and recall nationwide 23 products from Phat Anh Minh Co., Ltd. in Thanh Tri, Hanoi.
Some brands include: Gemlites Cocoa Quartz Colorditioner, BondFix Conditioner, Viral Rose Gold Colorditioner, Lion Kids’ Toothpaste Strawberry, Viral Hot Pink Colorwash, Medicinal Salt, and others.
In addition to the nationwide circulation suspension and recall decisions, the Drug Administration of Vietnam also proceeded to revoke the product declaration forms for these cosmetic products.
The reason for the recall is that the cosmetic business companies either did not possess or failed to present the Product Information Files (PIF) within the legally stipulated timeframe when requested for inspection by competent authorities.
The Drug Administration of Vietnam requires businesses to stop circulating these products, recall them, and report the results to the Administration by November 25.
Previously, the Drug Administration of Vietnam also decided to recall a substandard sunscreen product, whose SPF (Sun Protection Factor) was found to be below 70% of the value declared on its packaging.
