Evaluating the second leg match against Beijing Guoan, within Group E of the AFC Champions League Two 2025-2026 group stage, Coach Polking stated: “This is a very important match. It’s almost a do-or-die game, similar to the previous match where we unfortunately lost on penalties in the national cup.”
“Tomorrow will be the same because both teams are forced to win to advance, and the losing team will likely be eliminated. This makes the match very exciting, and we are fully focused on the game.”

In the first leg away match, Hanoi Police created a host of chances but only managed a 2-2 draw. Coach Polking affirmed that his players will do better to secure a victory when they return to their home ground.
“I believe the opponent will play a bit differently with a few different players. But for us, everything remains the same. The team needs to stay focused on its playing style. We are a team that always creates a lot of chances, and I believe Hanoi Police can do it again tomorrow.”
