“Congratulations to U17 Vietnam. Vietnamese football has a promising generation of players. I’m looking forward to their decisive match against U17 Malaysia to see who will secure a spot in the U17 Asian Championship 2026 finals,” commented Siphandone Heuangpaserd from Laos on the Asean Football page after witnessing Coach Cristiano Roland’s squad defeat U17 Macau 4-0 in the fourth matchday of the Asian qualifiers at PVF (Hung Yen) on the evening of November 28.

After three consecutive victories, U17 Vietnam entered their fourth-round match against U17 Macau with great enthusiasm, quickly deciding the game in the first half. All four goals were scored by Coach Cristiano Roland’s players in the first half, courtesy of Dinh Vy (8th minute), Manh Quan (21st minute), Ngoc Son (33rd minute), and Duy Khang (37th minute).

This victory gave U17 Vietnam 12 points after four matches. Coach Roland’s squad is level on points with U17 Malaysia but ranks higher due to a superior goal difference.

Therefore, the final match between U17 Vietnam and U17 Malaysia is expected to be extremely dramatic and exciting, as the ticket to the U17 Asian Championship 2026 finals will go to the winner. However, Coach Roland’s players have an advantage, as a draw would be enough for them to advance due to their superior goal difference.

Many Southeast Asian fans are thrilled about this final match between the two strongest teams in the group, believing that the chances are evenly split and the spot in the finals will go to the team with better composure.

“U17 Vietnam is a very strong team. The upcoming match against U17 Malaysia is the group stage final. I predict the score will be 2-3, and U17 Malaysia will be the winner,” confidently asserted Abang Terkejut Manja from Malaysia.

“U17 Vietnam is performing well with convincing victories. I think they still have an edge over U17 Malaysia and will secure a spot in the finals,” Mohd Kamaruzaman from Indonesia leaned towards a U17 Vietnam victory.

“U17 Vietnam hasn’t deployed their full strong squad in the match against U17 Macau yet. Coach Roland is still hiding many trump cards for the final match against U17 Malaysia,” commented BolaLapak IG, also from Indonesia.

“It’s a pleasure to watch U17 Vietnam’s young players. They are bold with the ball, coordinate confidently, and have excellent finishing skills. I expect these players to defeat U17 Malaysia and make it to next year’s Asian Championship finals,” concluded Phan Quoc Bao from Vietnam.

According to the schedule, U17 Vietnam will face U17 Malaysia in the final match at 7 PM on November 30.
