The incident, captured in a video that quickly spread online, shows Mr. L.S., the car driver, stopped at a red light at the intersection of Truong Dinh and Vo Thi Sau Streets. A man on a motorbike from Vo Thi Sau Street (the opposite direction) abruptly changed lanes and blocked the car’s path.

The reckless action caused inconvenience and danger to both parties involved in the traffic. The motorbike rider not only blocked the car but also verbally abused the driver, then exited his motorbike, hitting the car window and pulling on the door handle.

The car driver, Mr. L.S., locked his doors and did not dare to get out. The incident lasted approximately two minutes before the motorbike rider left. As the car sustained no damage, Mr. L.S. chose not to report the incident to the police but shared the video online to warn others and seek advice on how to handle the situation.

The Ho Chi Minh City Traffic Police Department (PC08) has received the report and is working with relevant agencies to retrieve security camera footage, identify the motorbike’s license plate, and invite the motorbike rider for questioning.

The man’s deliberate violation of traffic laws not only affected the car driver but also posed a threat to overall traffic safety in Ho Chi Minh City. This behavior warrants condemnation, and authorities should implement strict measures to deter similar actions and ensure traffic safety on city streets.
