SpaceX is preparing a ground station in Vietnam for Starlink satellites, planning to deploy multiple stations nationwide.
According to Reuters, the first ground station in Vietnam could become operational as early as May or June in Da Nang City and potentially form part of a network of up to 15 stations across the country.
This plan will make Vietnam one of the largest Starlink networks in the region.

Starlink is a service of aerospace technology company SpaceX (founded by tech billionaire Elon Musk), using satellites in orbit to provide global internet coverage.
To offer global internet service, SpaceX will launch approximately 30,000 satellites into low Earth orbit (550 km altitude), creating a network encompassing the Earth. Starlink satellites are designed to broadcast high-speed internet from space to Earth.
A key advantage of Starlink is its ability to provide internet access anywhere in the world, including remote and underserved areas that lack conventional internet or mobile network connectivity.
