The song immediately garnered attention with its powerful high notes and resonant voice, leaving listeners in awe.
Speaking about the recording process, NSND Quang Tho explained that the song features a wide range, from deep bass to soaring highs, a challenge even for international singers.
He carefully considered accepting the project due to the demanding technical requirements.
“It took me many days to practice, master the song, and fully convey the emotions. The song has very high and very low sections, requiring a balanced voice with depth and soaring ability. My baritone voice required significant effort to reach the song’s full potential,” he said.
The artist explained his willingness to participate because the film is aimed at young audiences. He believes it’s important for his music to reach the next generation, children and teenagers.
“This is almost my first time singing this genre. Previously, I usually sang songs with a more political or social message,” shared NSND Quang Tho.
NSND Quang Tho was also particularly impressed with the song’s lyrical content and message: “The lyrics are very relatable to young people. From the image of Dế Mèn, the land of King Frog, to the aspirations to reach far, the lyrics vividly describe life and convey a profound message to young people, their aspirations and dreams to build a more beautiful world.”
He also highlighted that this experience had a different emotional impact compared to his previous work for children’s films. “This time, I had to put myself in the mindset of the character, of the young people, to accurately convey the spirit and emotion of the song. The musical style is also very fresh. Honestly, I feel like I’m rejuvenated,” said NSND Quang Tho.
