The incident occurred on the evening of March 11th, in the Phạm Hùng – Trần Bình area of Nam Từ Liêm district. Lieutenant Dang Thai Thinh, an officer from Traffic Police Squad 6, received a request for assistance from Mr. H.T.S. (born 2003) whose father was experiencing a severe coughing fit and needed immediate transport to K Hospital, Tân Triều.
Due to traffic congestion, the taxi faced difficulties in moving. Recognizing the urgency of the situation, Lieutenant Thinh reported the situation and used a specialized motorcycle to guide the taxi, enabling the patient’s timely transport to the hospital.
The entire traffic police force along the route coordinated, facilitating the taxi’s rapid movement. The assistance spanned over 10 kilometers, from Phạm Hùng to K Hospital, Tân Triều branch.
Thanks to the timely assistance of the traffic police, the patient was taken to the hospital in time, overcoming the critical stage. Mr. S. expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation for the compassionate actions of the Hanoi traffic police officers.

Lieutenant Colonel Pham Van Chien, Squad Leader of Traffic Police Squad 6, stated that the squad had implemented a plan to open the road to ensure the patient’s arrival at the hospital as quickly as possible. He emphasized that assisting citizens during emergency situations is a critical responsibility of the Hanoi traffic police.
