Born in 2003, Tùng Hân, a young goalkeeper from Đà Nẵng Club, was loaned to Balestier Khalsa for this season. He participated in U21 Singapore matches to gain experience and quickly proved his abilities. This earned him a place in the starting lineup, playing two consecutive matches before joining the Vietnamese U22 national team.
His debut for Balestier Khalsa in the Singapore Cup on March 2nd and his first start in the Singapore Premier League against Geylang International on March 7th showcased Tùng Hân’s impressive performance. Despite conceding three goals, he demonstrated strong reflexes and saves, helping Balestier Khalsa secure a 4-3 victory.

The match against Geylang International was not only a significant step for Tùng Hân but also a challenging one. After Geylang International scored to reduce the lead, the opponent’s number 23 player, Taniguchi, fouled Tùng Hân while the Vietnamese goalkeeper was retrieving the ball. Thankfully, Tùng Hân avoided injury. However, this act of foul play highlighted the intense competition in the Singapore Premier League.
Competition at Balestier Khalsa is fierce, with four goalkeepers in the squad: Tùng Hân, Mun, Chew, and Ahmad. However, Tùng Hân has proven himself worthy of playing time.
