Central External Relations Department Head Brings Lunar New Year Gifts to Workers in Hue

In celebration of the 2025 Lunar New Year, Mr. Le Hoai Trung—Head of the Central External Relations Department—along with leaders from the General Confederation of Labor and the city of Hue, presented 100 meaningful Lunar New Year gift baskets to union members, workers, and disadvantaged residents. Each basket is valued at 1.3 million Vietnamese dong, contributing to a warm spring for those less fortunate.

Mr. Le Hoai Trung conveyed heartfelt greetings and wishes for good health, happiness, peace, and success to all union members and residents in Hue. He emphasized that 2024 marked a significant milestone when the National Assembly passed a resolution establishing Hue as a centrally governed city, recognizing the efforts and achievements of the locality.

Practical Support During the Traditional Tet Festival

According to the Hue City Federation of Trade Unions, to bring joy and share during the traditional Tet festival, the unit has coordinated with the delegation of the National Assembly to visit enterprises and present 100 gift baskets to disadvantaged workers, totaling over 50 million Vietnamese dong.

On January 19th, the Hue City Federation of Trade Unions will organize the “Family Reunion Tet – Spring of Gratitude” event and the “Union Tet Market” to welcome the Year of the Dragon 2025. At the event, organizers plan to distribute 2,370 gift baskets to particularly disadvantaged union members and workers, while providing 575 million Vietnamese dong to build and repair Union House shelters.

Additionally, the Hue City Federation of Trade Unions has partnered with businesses to open 24 discount stalls to help union members and workers access essential goods for their daily lives.
