According to reports from the meeting, during this year’s Tet holiday, there were 411 traffic accidents nationwide, resulting in 191 fatalities and 354 injuries. Compared to the same period last year, the number of accidents, deaths, and injuries all decreased by 38% to 40%. This is a welcome sign, reflecting the effectiveness of Decree 168 in enhancing road safety.

Statistics show that the average monthly salary in 2024 reached nearly 9 million VND, up from the previous year. The average Tet bonus this year was 7.72 million VND per person, 13% higher than the previous year.
- Healthcare and Disease Prevention: Health care services, disease prevention, and food safety were well managed. No major outbreaks occurred during the holiday.
- Civilized and Healthy Festivals: The Prime Minister emphasized the need to organize post-Tet festivals safely, avoiding superstitions and wasteful practices.
