Miss Khanh Van shares that this Tet is particularly meaningful as she celebrates with her husband. Instead of traveling to different places like in previous years, the family spent Tet visiting her parents’ home and then welcoming them to their own house for a warm reunion.
“On New Year’s Day, we stayed with my parents. From the second day onwards, I spent time with friends and partners. With our busy work schedules, my husband and I wanted Tet to be a relaxing and fulfilling time,” she shared.
A Happier Life After Marriage
Since getting married, Khanh Van has noticed positive changes in both her mindset and lifestyle. She no longer feels pressured by questions about when she will get married, which used to make her uncomfortable during family gatherings.
“In the past, when people asked me about marriage, I just smiled it off. Now, I feel much more at ease because I don’t have to worry about those questions anymore,” she said.
Despite a busy schedule leading up to Tet, the couple made time to decorate their home and prepare traditional sweets for the New Year. One special activity they did this year was making Tet cakes together.
“This year, Tet came early, so we were even more excited. I love spending time with my family doing these traditional activities,” she enthusiastically shared.
Support from an Ideal Husband
Khanh Van’s life has changed significantly after marriage, but her husband continues to provide her with comfort and freedom to pursue her passions. According to Khanh Van, her husband was initially quite reserved, but he has completely transformed since they got married.
“In the past, he was very shy and often avoided cameras. But since meeting me, he has become more comfortable appearing with his wife in public and on social media. Long is very considerate and accommodating, which makes me feel less pressured. For me, last year was truly fulfilling both personally and professionally,” she shared.
Household chores have also become easier with her supportive husband. He handles the heavier tasks, allowing her more time to relax and focus on personal interests.
