Enhanced Control on National Highway 1A

On National Highway 1A, one of the country’s main arteries, traffic police deployed 152 shifts on duty during the third day of Tet. As a result, authorities inspected over 6,600 vehicles, issued more than 660 violation citations, revoked the driving licenses of 66 individuals, and temporarily impounded 240 vehicles. These measures aimed to ensure traffic safety and promptly prevent dangerous violations.

Conclusion

Statistics on traffic accidents and violations on the third day of Tet highlight the efforts of traffic police in maintaining traffic order and safety. However, the number of accidents and violations remains high, particularly with regards to drunk driving and speeding. This underscores the need for increased public awareness campaigns to enhance compliance with traffic laws, as well as stronger enforcement measures to ensure community safety.

Always follow traffic rules and drive safely to protect yourself and those around you.
