Before being appointed as Director of Ha Giang Provincial Police, Colonel Nguyen Duc Thuan held several important positions within the police force. He previously served as Deputy Head of Border and Maritime Security at the Security General Department; Head of Border and Maritime Security at the Political Security Department; Head of Asia Division 1 at the Foreign Security Department, Ministry of Public Security; and most recently, Deputy Director of Ha Giang Provincial Police.
