On February 6th, Mr. Nguyen Trong Nga – Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, and Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission – visited and worked with the National Political Publishing House (NPPH) True Facts.
During the meeting, the Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission emphasized the importance of political and theoretical books in society for cadres, party members, and the general public. He also highlighted the significant role of the NPPH True Facts as the leading publisher for the Party, the political system, and the national publishing industry.

Mr. Nguyen Trong Nga commended the efforts and contributions of the staff at the NPPH True Facts over the years and congratulated them on their achievements in 2024.
This year will see many significant events for the country, so the Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission requested that the NPPH True Facts fulfill certain tasks to enhance its guiding and leading role as the top publisher for the Party and the political system.
He urged the NPPH to innovate and produce more substantial and valuable books that address both theoretical and practical issues, focusing on the core principles of the Party’s renewal policies. These publications should serve the upcoming Party congresses at various levels, culminating in the 14th Party Congress and the 40th anniversary of national renewal.
Mr. Nguyen Trong Nga also stressed that books are the crystallization of human knowledge. In an era of integration and renewal, promoting reading culture must be prioritized and spread from central authorities to local levels.
“In any stage of development, whether it’s the 5.0 or 6.0 technological revolution, we always return to books. Knowledge cannot be confined to urban areas but must reach even farmers and laborers,” Mr. Nguyen Trong Nga said.

At the meeting, Prof. Dr. Vu Trong Lam – Secretary of the Party Committee, Director, and Editor-in-Chief of the NPPH True Facts – reported on the house’s activities and notable achievements in 2024, along with plans and solutions for 2025.
According to the Director and Editor-in-Chief’s report, the NPPH True Facts published 648 books in 2024 (111.7% compared to 2023), including several important titles supporting the Party and State’s political missions.
The NPPH expanded its cooperation, signing agreements and implementing collaborative programs with various ministries, departments, provincial committees, and universities. Scientific research was intensified, with numerous high-quality national and international scientific conferences and seminars organized. International relations were further developed, and initial successes were achieved in digital transformation within the publishing process.
Following Mr. Nguyen Trong Nga’s directives, Prof. Dr. Vu Trong Lam affirmed that the leadership and staff would strive to overcome challenges, uphold traditions, and complete assigned tasks, worthy of their status as the leading theoretical and political publisher for the Party and State, and the vanguard of the Vietnamese publishing industry.
