On February 8th, the Forest Protection Department of Gia Lai Province collaborated with relevant authorities to hand over 14 critically endangered and rare wild animals to Kon Ka Kinh National Park for care and release back into the wild.
According to information from the Forest Protection Department, Kon Ka Kinh National Park has received seven pig-tailed macaques, one golden mountain tortoise, three large land tortoises, one reticulated python, and two deer.

All these animals belong to group IIB, which is critically endangered and rare, and will be taken to the Rescue, Conservation, and Development Center for care.
Once the animals have stable health and gradually adapt, they will be released back into the wild according to regulations.
Previously, these wild animals were cared for and nurtured by the Pleiku City Culture, Information, and Sports Center at Dien Hong Park in Pleiku City for several years.
