On February 10, social media shared a post from a taxi company in Bac Ninh province claiming that electric vehicles are not safe.
Specifically, after testing the VinFast VF5 for passenger transportation, the company ceased using this model to “ensure customer safety.”

According to Dan Tri reporters, Bac Ninh provincial police invited Mr. V., the director of the taxi company, to their office to clarify the contents of the post.
Sources revealed that the VF5 involved in the incident belongs to Mr. S. To operate passenger transport services, Mr. S. signed a cooperation contract with Mr. V.’s company. After some time, both parties decided to terminate the partnership.
Mr. S. and his company removed all decals and insignias from the VF5, returning it to its original state.
However, the Fanpage of Mr. V.’s company posted misleading information about electric cars.
Authorities are currently gathering evidence and considering legal action against Mr. V. for disseminating false and malicious information through social media platforms.
