The story of a young mother who naturally gave birth to twins twice has been enthusiastically shared on social media recently. Along with heartfelt wishes for her family, many people have also asked for her luck in having twin pregnancies and ensuring the health and safety of her babies.

The mother in the story is Ms. Phan Thi Hong Hanh, aged 26, from Huong Ke, Ha Tinh. Ms. Hanh is a primary school teacher, and her first set of twins is now three years old, while the second set is nearly one year old.
Sharing with reporters from Dan Tri, this mother of four revealed that during her first twin pregnancy, she was initially concerned about her petite frame, which could make childbirth difficult. However, her joy knew no bounds when the cesarean section went smoothly and both babies were born healthy.
“The hardest part of being a first-time mom was dealing with the sleepless nights and the frequent illnesses of the babies. Despite feeling exhausted at times, seeing my children grow each day fills me with immense happiness,” she shared.
Just as the first set of twins turned two, Ms. Hanh unexpectedly found out she was pregnant again. Unprepared and facing another twin pregnancy, the breastfeeding mom felt anxious. With her small stature—standing at 1.5 meters and weighing 43 kg—she worried about potential risks during her pregnancy.

“Fortunately, my second pregnancy went smoothly as well. I still vividly remember riding my motorbike 20 kilometers to teach at school even as I approached my due date. Having my husband and mother by my side during labor made me feel much more secure. After a successful cesarean section, our family welcomed four little angels. Looking back at this journey, I am still filled with surprise and emotion,” she recalled.
Balancing motherhood for four children and her teaching career keeps Ms. Hanh constantly busy. The family’s finances mainly rely on her husband’s salary, while she supplements daily expenses through her teaching job. Despite having two sets of twins, she never confuses them because each child has unique features.
“During the day, my mother and I take turns watching the children, and at night, my husband helps with the care. Fortunately, my mother is a preschool teacher, so she nurtures the children very scientifically and in line with modern trends. This allows us to be completely at ease knowing she is with them. My in-laws also support us financially from afar, making the challenging task of caring for four young children slightly easier,” she shared.
