Lee Dong Jun is the agent for both Coaches Kim Sang Sik and Park Hang Seo. As such, he is deeply interested in the Vietnamese football market. Yesterday, he confirmed his intention to bring Xuan Son to South Korea after recognizing the player’s potential to succeed in the K-League.

“The Vietnamese player I want to bring to the K-League is Xuan Son,” Mr. Lee Dong Jun revealed. He further commented on Xuan Son’s talent: “This player has proven himself with superior physical attributes and strong tackling abilities. I believe he possesses the qualities needed to compete in the K-League.”
At this moment, Xuan Son is recovering from a serious injury sustained during the second leg of the 2024 AFF Cup final. It is likely that the Ninh Binh FC forward will need more than half a year before returning to the field.
Recently, Xuan Son expressed his desire to commit his entire career to Ninh Binh FC. He shared: “Ninh Binh FC and its fans have supported me greatly. I would like to thank Mr. Thien, whom I affectionately call Papa Thien. He has been very supportive during my difficult times. Therefore, I have decided to dedicate my entire career to Ninh Binh FC.”
The forward hopes to recover soon to contribute to both Ninh Binh FC and the Vietnam national team: “At this point, I am fully focused on rehabilitation. This is a crucial part of my training regimen. I really want to return to the field at my best. That is my top priority right now.”

My story with the Vietnam national team is quite unique and somewhat crazy. I received everything in a short period. I couldn’t believe how quickly it all happened. I scored many goals and became a champion. Sometimes I don’t believe it’s real, but I am happy about it.
I always give 200% of my effort to contribute to my country and the team. I hope to return soon, sing the national anthem, and score more goals for the Vietnam national team.
In the past, several Vietnamese players like Luong Xuan Truong, Nguyen Cong Phuong, and Nguyen Van Toan have played in South Korea. However, none of them succeeded there.
Mr. Lee Dong Jun explained: “Regarding players like Van Toan, Cong Phuong, and Xuan Truong who have played in South Korea, is it because they lack skills? Not at all. They all possess good abilities and could compete.
Their issue was the lack of time to adapt. K-League clubs were not yet ready to welcome Southeast Asian players. Time waits for no one. This is a professional environment. I believe the experience gained in South Korea will be beneficial to them. I am confident that within three years, a Vietnamese player will succeed in the K-League.”
