Andrej Nguyễn An Khánh, one of the 26 Vietnamese players called up for the U22 Vietnam team preparing for a friendly tournament in China, is making an impressive showing in the Czech Republic’s fourth division. The player shone with a winning goal in his recent match, despite his team’s loss. This was also An Khánh’s final game before returning to Vietnam to join the national team.

An Khánh plays for FK SK Polanka, which currently ranks second in the Czech Republic’s fourth division with 36 points. This young player’s excellence promises to bring positive signals to the U22 Vietnam team in the upcoming matches.

Despite having to join the team late due to his final match for FK SK Polanka on the afternoon of March 9th, An Khánh still managed to prepare for his new duty. The match saw his impressive performance, scoring the opening goal in the 30th minute. However, FK SK Polanka ultimately lost 2-3 to Rymarov.

An Khánh has demonstrated good form, scoring 6 goals and assisting 6 times for FK SK Polanka this season, showcasing his dedication and effectiveness during his time playing in the Czech Republic.

An Khánh’s outstanding performance in Europe is highly regarded and promises to contribute significantly to the development of the U22 Vietnam team in its preparations for the U23 Asian Cup qualifiers and the 2025 SEA Games. This is a welcome sign for the team, especially considering An Khánh’s previous two stints with U22 Vietnam under Coach Troussier, which provided him with opportunities for development.

Besides An Khánh, U22 Vietnam also has Vietnamese-born player Viktor Lê, from Hà Tĩnh Club, training with the team in recent days. The team will continue its preparation for the CFA Team China 2025 tournament in Jiangsu from March 20th to 25th, facing Uzbekistan, South Korea, and the host nation, China.

An Khánh is now an important player for U22 Vietnam, greatly assisting the team in its upcoming campaigns.

Conclusion:

An Khánh is a crucial player in the U22 Vietnam lineup, and his impressive performance in the Czech Republic’s fourth division promises to bring positive signals to the team in the coming time. His return, along with Viktor Lê, will be a significant source of motivation for U22 Vietnam in the CFA Team China 2025 tournament.
