On his personal page, G-Dragon posted a series of photos related to his activities in Vietnam. This is not the first time the South Korean star has performed here. In June, he had a memorable performance under heavy rain at My Dinh National Stadium.

In the series of photos shared from the November 8 show, the “King of K-pop” expressed his delight at the warm reception from Vietnamese audiences. The stadium was packed with fans, creating an explosive and musical atmosphere. On the evening of November 9, he will continue to bring his second performance to Vietnam.

Not only Vietnamese fans, but also a large number of international fans traveled to Vietnam to attend the concert, bringing the total audience to tens of thousands.

Before coming to Vietnam, G-Dragon’s Übermensch World Tour had already made a strong impact in many countries such as Japan, the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, China, France, the US, and Australia.

According to the South Korean newspaper Money Today, ancillary services related to the concerts bring significant economic benefits to the event venues.

In Taipei (China) in July, G-Dragon set a record as the first Korean artist to sell out 80,000 tickets at Taipei Dome. Local authorities reported a sharp increase in hotel bookings and service spending during the concert period, while G-Dragon-related keywords consistently topped trends across Asia.

G-Dragon (real name Kwon Ji Yong, born in 1988) is a South Korean music and fashion icon. He debuted in 2006 as a key member of the group BIGBANG, later developing a solo career.

His debut album Heartbreaker (2009) earned him the Album of the Year award at the Mnet Asian Music Awards 2009 and became one of South Korea’s best-selling albums.

Beyond being a singer, G-Dragon is also a leading fashion icon in Asia, frequently appearing in the front rows of major shows in Paris (France), Milan (Italy), and Seoul (South Korea).

In late October, he was awarded the South Korean Order of Cultural Merit – a prestigious honor for individuals who have contributed to promoting the Hallyu (Korean Wave).

G-Dragon was also appointed as an Ambassador for the APEC 2025 Summit and is the only K-pop (Korean pop music) artist to perform at the reception for leaders of 21 member nations – a milestone affirming the “King of K-pop’s” international status.
