On the evening of February 8, the Galaxy S25 series officially hit shelves in the Vietnamese market. The Galaxy S25 generation features three different versions: Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra.

“The Ultra version boasts numerous upgrades in AI features and powerful performance. We recorded a 15% increase in pre-orders compared to the previous generation,” said Mr. Nguyen Nhu Thanh, Deputy Director of the phone product category at FPT Shop.
The trio of Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra had official listed prices starting from 23 million VND, 27 million VND, and 34 million VND, respectively. However, in reality, Vietnamese users could purchase the products at significantly lower prices.
To attract customers, dealers continuously increased incentives and direct discounts on product prices. Depending on each dealer’s program, users could buy a Galaxy S25 at a price 3-4 million VND lower than the official listed price.
Specifically, the Galaxy S25 Ultra was reduced to 30 million VND, 4 million VND lower than Samsung’s listed price. The Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ duo also saw price adjustments, settling at 19 million VND and 22 million VND, respectively.
Speaking with Dan Tri reporters, representatives from several retailers stated that the trend of Vietnamese users choosing high-end phones remains unchanged compared to previous years. Accordingly, the Galaxy S25 Ultra version was the most popular choice among users.
“Statistics show that the Galaxy S25 Ultra model accounted for nearly 80% of total deposit orders. Among these, the standard version with 256GB storage capacity made up 65%, while the 512GB version accounted for 30%,” shared Mr. Nguyen Lac Huy, media representative for CellphoneS.
A similar trend was observed at many other retailers. A representative from Di Dong Viet reported that 75% of customers were interested in and pre-ordered the Galaxy S25 Ultra series, while the Galaxy S25 accounted for 13% and the Galaxy S25+ for 12% of total pre-orders.

“The pre-order period fell just before the Lunar New Year. Users had ample time to research and consider their needs for a new phone purchase. After three days of Tet, the number of pre-orders increased by about 40%,” added the representative from Di Dong Viet.
The overall exterior of the Galaxy S25 series does not show many changes compared to its predecessors. The front still maintains the “punch-hole” screen design housing the selfie camera.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra version features a minor change with a titanium frame and softer rounded corners. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ have virtually no major design changes.
