The Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the HCMC People’s Council has announced the 21st special session, 10th term, for the 2021-2026 tenure. The session is scheduled to take place on the afternoon of February 20.
At this session, the HCMC People’s Council will review reports from the city’s People’s Committee regarding organizational restructuring; additional support policies for public employees, civil servants, and workers affected by organizational changes; and a special policy to subsidize tuition fees for preschool children under 5 years old, high school students in public and private educational institutions, and continuing education high school students starting from the 2025-2026 academic year.

Delegates will also examine adjustments to resolutions concerning the functions and duties of administrative organizations and public service units under the People’s Committee of Thu Duc City, as well as the organizational structure of administrative bodies and public service units under Thu Duc City’s People’s Committee.
The 21st session will also consider approving investment projects for existing road infrastructure under the BOT (Build-Operate-Transfer) model according to Resolution 98, along with several other reports related to commemorative policies marking the 50th anniversary of national reunification.
According to the announcement from the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the HCMC People’s Council, the session will also address personnel matters within its jurisdiction.
