A Thoughtful Message from a Heartwarming Comedy

Producer Nguyễn Duy Nhất shared the reason behind the film’s name: “Kindness is not just how we treat each other but also a way of life, thinking, and positive action. We want to spread this message, especially in times of economic and social challenges.”

Spring Festival: Overcoming Challenges to Restart

Actor Xuân Nghị’s appearance in Kind Tet surprised many viewers. At the press conference, he shared that joining this project was both an opportunity and a challenge for his artistic career.

“I wanted to have more chances to express myself and learn from experienced seniors,” Xuân Nghị said. He also candidly admitted to a long hiatus from the screen due to personal setbacks.

“Multiple crises hit me—career, relationships, and family—leading me to lose direction. I had to slow down, turn to Buddhism, and read books to reflect. It was a period of significant growth,” he added.

Currently, Xuân Nghị has balanced his life and is ready to return to the arts. He believes that the lessons learned from the past are far more valuable than any previous roles or performances.

The Art of Making a Comedy for Tet: Not as Easy as People Think

Veteran artist NSND Quốc Anh, who starred in Kind Tet, emphasized that making a comedy for Tet is not easy. He said, “Many think it’s easy, but it’s actually very challenging. You have to make people laugh while touching their hearts. Behind every smile should be depth, sharpness, and educational value to truly resonate with the audience.”

Director An Thuyên agreed, expressing his luck in collaborating with seasoned artists. “Their feedback not only improved the script but also elevated the acting quality,” he noted.
