Several Indonesian players underperformed in this match. However, coach Nova Arianto still commended the players. He stated: “First, I congratulate the North Korean U17 team for a fantastic match.
Regardless of the result, I want to thank the players. They played well today. This outcome didn’t meet our expectations. However, the players will learn from this loss to better prepare for their future careers.”
Coach Nova Arianto affirmed his focus on the U17 World Cup. He added, “We need to prepare better for the World Cup. We will further evaluate our performance after the loss to North Korea.
Overall, the Indonesian players displayed excellent spirit, although there are areas for improvement in their gameplay and decision-making. This is something we need to address in the next five months to prepare well for the global competition. We need to enhance not only their physical and mental strength but also their talent. We are facing a major tournament, demanding exceptional effort from the players.”
