Speaking with Dân trí reporters, representatives of several authorized Apple dealers in Vietnam stated that the company has recently changed its pricing policies and sales programs for the iPhone 15 product line. This has led to a significant increase in product prices compared to before.

Specifically, the iPhone 15 is currently being offered by dealers at 17 million VND for the 128GB version. The current price is 1.2 million VND higher than at the beginning of October.
“After the iPhone 15 prices were adjusted, product sales no longer grew as strongly as in previous months. Users are now considering other options more, such as the iPhone 14 and iPhone 16e,” shared a representative from Minh Tuan Mobile.
After announcing the iPhone 17 product line, Apple quietly discontinued a series of older products, including the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus duo. To date, the iPhone 15 remains among the popular products in the sub-20 million VND segment.
Also according to dealers, the supply of iPhone 15 in the Vietnamese market remains relatively stable, and there is no information about production being halted. However, the available color options are no longer as diverse as before.

Within the same segment, the iPhone 15 currently competes with its “in-house” counterpart, the iPhone 16e. The iPhone 15 stands out with its youthful, colorful design, Dynamic Island display, and dual camera system.
Meanwhile, the iPhone 16e features a powerful A18 chip, supports the Apple Intelligence toolkit, and offers better battery life. Despite being an older generation product, the iPhone 15 is still more favored by Vietnamese users compared to Apple’s newly launched model.
“The move to adjust selling prices could be a solution for Apple to more clearly differentiate its devices. With a price difference of 2 million VND at present, the iPhone 16e will become a more optimal choice for users,” commented a representative from a distribution system.
