MacRumors suggests that a coffee brown iPhone 18 Pro could be a perfect successor to the gold iPhone XS or the desert titanium iPhone 16 Pro.
According to ETNews, the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max duo will feature significant camera system improvements. These will be the first iPhone models to be equipped with a variable aperture camera module, offering greater flexibility in all lighting conditions.
This feature allows users to adjust the amount of light entering the sensor depending on the shooting environment. Specifically, when shooting in low-light conditions, the aperture will automatically widen to capture more light, resulting in brighter and more detailed images.
Conversely, when shooting in bright outdoor light, the aperture will narrow to prevent overexposure and help reproduce more accurate colors.
Furthermore, a variable aperture also allows the camera to better control the depth of field, thereby enhancing the quality of portrait photos by making the subject stand out more against the background.
The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max duo are expected to retain their current screen sizes. Accordingly, the two devices will feature 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch displays, respectively.

The biggest change in this product line is that the Face ID facial recognition system will be moved under the display. At this point, the device will only have a small punch-hole cutout on the screen for the front camera.
This will be a significant step forward in iPhone design, increasing the screen-to-body ratio on the front. However, it is still unclear whether Apple will continue to maintain the Dynamic Island design.
Supply chain sources indicate that the iPhone 18 Pro series will be equipped with the A20 processor, manufactured by TSMC on a 2nm process.
It is also highly likely that the iPhone 18 generation will feature up to 12GB of RAM. This upgrade will enable the device to handle multitasking better, especially for the Apple Intelligence suite and AI-driven tasks.
