On February 13, in Hanoi, the People’s Army Newspaper (QĐND) held a press conference to announce the writing contest about the glorious Communist Party and the great President Ho Chi Minh, under the theme “Steadfast Under the Party’s Flag.” This meaningful event was initiated by the General Political Department of the Vietnam People’s Army and directly organized by the QĐND.
Significance and Objectives of the Contest
The competition aims to celebrate major events such as the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 – February 3, 2025), leading up to the Party Congresses at various levels and the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party. It also serves as an occasion to honor the historical values and revolutionary spirit fostered by the Party and Uncle Ho.
At the ceremony, Lieutenant General Đoàn Xuân Bộ, Editor-in-Chief of QĐND and Head of the Organizing Committee, emphasized that through this contest, the organizers aim to widely promote among cadres, party members, soldiers, and all social classes the glorious history of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the immense contributions of President Ho Chi Minh.
He stated: “This contest not only affirms the position, role, prestige, leadership, governance capacity, and fighting strength of the Party but also ignites faith and pride among cadres, soldiers, and the people toward the Party and the State.”

Another important goal of the contest is to strengthen national unity and foster social consensus regarding the Party’s policies and the State’s laws. This will help encourage cadres, party members, and the public to overcome all difficulties and challenges, seize opportunities, and successfully implement the resolutions of the Party Congresses at various levels for the 2020-2025 term and the 13th National Congress of the Party.

The organizing committee has designed a rich and attractive award structure to encourage enthusiastic participation from authors. Specifically:

- 10 Second Prizes, each worth 25 million VND.
- 25 Third Prizes, each worth 20 million VND.

Eligible submissions will be published in QĐND publications from February 6 to November 30. Judging and awarding are expected to take place in December.
