Weather expert Nguyen Ngoc Huy stated that the time around New Year’s Eve and the first day of the lunar new year, Hanoi and other northern regions will have no rain, with severe cold at night and early morning, but warm sunshine during the day. This is ideal for outdoor New Year celebrations.
