In an interview with Dân trí, TV host Phuong Mai revealed she filed for divorce from her Polish husband, Marcin Miller, at the People’s Court of Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City on February 13.

The TV host shared that the reason for the divorce is unmet marital expectations and unresolved conflicts over time. The couple has also failed to reach an agreement regarding child custody for their son, Henryk.
Phuong Mai stated that throughout their five-year marriage, she often portrayed a happy family life. She had frequently praised her husband as understanding, thoughtful, and supportive of her career.
As recently as November 2024, the model hosted a lavish birthday celebration for her husband at a luxury restaurant.
However, Phuong Mai admitted to “painting a rosy picture” of her family’s happiness in the media.
According to Phuong Mai, since marrying, she has supported her husband’s career as her top priority. By 2021, Marcin began accumulating personal assets. However, he transferred all his assets abroad and consistently avoided her questions about it.
By late 2024, she discovered that her husband never officially registered their marriage in Poland, meaning her marital rights were not recognized there.
He also declared he would not buy a house in Vietnam as promised in 2019 when they decided to marry.
When Phuong Mai proposed divorce, her husband demanded she leave their rented home and leave their son Henryk in his care.
In the terms sent to her, Marcin requested full-time custody of Henryk, allowing Phuong Mai visitation rights only at his residence.
Therefore, she is determined to fight for full custody of her son after finalizing the divorce.
