He discussed sleepless nights working with subordinates to craft policies, and conversations with the Prime Minister regarding support measures for citizens during the COVID-19 pandemic, all memorable experiences.

The Minister expressed deep gratitude to former Ministers, families of departed colleagues, and all civil servants and workers in the sector throughout its 80-year history. The Minister spoke about the Ministry’s integration with the Ministry of Internal Affairs, describing it as a return to the sector’s “roots”. He emphasized that this change is not a setback but an opportunity for the sector’s values to be further disseminated. The Vocational Education Department and other units will be transferred to the Ministry of Education and Training, and other units to the Ministry of Health.
