Hoang Ngoc Nhu (born in 2003), a student from Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry, surpassed 27 contestants to be crowned Miss Student Vietnam 2025. The 22-year-old beauty is currently studying Accounting. She stands 1.72m tall and has measurements of 80-60-89cm.
Hoang Ngoc Nhu is the elder daughter in a family of two siblings. Her father works for the state, and her mother is a homemaker. She shared that her family is not well-off, just enough to get by, but always full of laughter.
“I saw my mother’s hardships. My younger brother is also about to enter university, and I just wish I could ease some of the financial burden for my family,” Hoang Ngoc Nhu shared.
Before the competition, Ngoc Nhu had almost no experience in artistic activities. In her free time, she took on part-time jobs related to bookkeeping and accounting to earn extra income.
“I wanted to challenge myself, step out of my comfort zone to see how far I could go,” the new Miss said about her reason for entering the pageant.
Throughout the competition, her parents were a strong emotional pillar. Messages of encouragement and reminders from her family became the motivation for her to overcome shyness and perform well on stage. According to Ngoc Nhu, the most valuable thing the competition brought was personal growth and the courage to change herself.
At the finale, Ngoc Nhu unexpectedly stumbled on stage. Instead of panicking, she stood up and continued her performance to the cheers of the audience. Recalling that moment, she said: “At that time, I told myself that I had tried hard throughout a long journey. I was almost at the finish line, so I had to get up and keep going.”
After the coronation, Ngoc Nhu’s life underwent many changes. She had to leave Ho Chi Minh City to work with the organizing committee in Hanoi for a period. This was also her first time living away from her parents, so there was some upheaval initially. “It’s a big challenge, but I see this as an opportunity to grow more every day,” the beauty said.
Regarding her future orientation, the new Miss stated that she prioritizes accumulating knowledge and experience, while also participating in community projects with the organizing committee.
“I think I need more time to understand what I like and what I want. Currently, I just want to learn and improve myself every day,” Ngoc Nhu said.
In parallel, Ngoc Nhu wants to collaborate with her management company to carry out community projects. Immediately after the competition, the beauty started her first charity project. She returned to her university and awarded 50 scholarships worth 50 million VND to students in difficult circumstances.
Currently, Ngoc Nhu is completing her studies and dedicating all her time to accompany Miss Student Vietnam, continuing to spread the image of a simple, diligent, and progressive new queen.
