Miss Viet Nam Tiểu Vy: “I’ve Rejected Quốc Anh’s Invitations to Hang Out Alone Multiple Times”

Hoa hậu Tiểu Vy: "Tôi từng nhiều lần từ chối đi chơi riêng với Quốc Anh"

Quốc Anh is Talented, Charming, and Very Friendly

What does Tiểu Vy think about her on-screen chemistry with Quốc Anh in “Bộ tứ báo thủ” (The Fab Four) and the rumors of a real-life romance between the two?

– Such rumors are not surprising. In every film project, the main characters are often paired together. Both Quốc Anh and I are young actors who share many intimate scenes, so it’s understandable that audiences see a connection between our characters. Quốc Anh and I have supported each other throughout the filming process.

Not only Quốc Anh and I but all the cast members of The Fab Four have helped one another to create the most authentic connections possible.

However, perhaps because people focus solely on Quốc Anh and me, they perceive our relationship as somewhat “ambiguous” (laughs). In reality, within the cast, everyone shows affectionate gestures toward each other, but the audience seems to only notice Quốc Anh and Tiểu Vy.

What are your thoughts about Quốc Anh? Are you close friends off-screen too?

Quốc Anh is very charming, kind-hearted, and always cares for others. He actively interacts to make working together comfortable, which helps us get into character more easily.

As for me, I’m rather reserved, not used to socializing with strangers, and I don’t enjoy private outings or meetings.

In fact, when both of us were cast in The Fab Four, Quốc Anh suggested we hang out privately to better understand each other. However, I felt it wasn’t necessary and declined multiple times. I believe reading the script and discussing it together is sufficient.

Trấn Thành also advised us to spend time getting to know each other to build natural chemistry. Without understanding each other, the emotions on screen won’t feel genuine, and the audience will notice. So, to fully portray our characters, Quốc Anh and I made an effort to connect more deeply.

What do you think about fans enthusiastically “shipping” you with Quốc Anh?

As you can see, fans have paired me with quite a few handsome actors.

This year alone, I’ve been matched with several male co-stars. Personally, I find it amusing because I think I’m cute, tall, and fit the ideal image of many on-screen heartthrobs (laughs).

Both actors have been rumored to be in a “real-life romance” and are being heavily “shipped” by fans due to their on-screen chemistry.

Have you ever developed feelings for a co-star?

– (Laughs). Quốc Anh is handsome, talented, charming, and always makes those around him feel comfortable.

When I first started this journey, I was quite shy and nervous. He has always encouraged and guided me. Whenever I didn’t perform well, he would say, “Keep going, keep going, you’ve got this!”

Even during my final scenes, he stayed behind to wait until I finished before leaving.

However, I believe a professional actor shouldn’t let personal emotions interfere with work. Not every on-screen pairing results in real-life romance. Thankfully, after wrapping up the film, I stepped out of character immediately, and we remain just good friends.

Many have praised Miss Viet Nam Tiểu Vy’s beauty, even calling her a “once-in-a-millennium beauty.”

Women Should Always Love Themselves and Never Forget Their Worth

Has anyone ever told you that you seem distant or difficult to approach at first?

– Yes! Actually, I’m an introvert, and I can come across as a bit distant and somewhat strict.

However, once we become close, I treat them like family, without any barriers. I dislike superficial relationships or casual small talk.

For me, if I’m friends with someone, it has to be a sincere relationship—not based on benefits or anything else.

In “The Fab Four,” your character Quỳnh Anh sacrifices everything for love. What similarities and differences do you see between yourself and Quỳnh Anh?

– Quỳnh Anh and I share the desire to be loved, cherished, and the willingness to sacrifice for love—but only if it’s reciprocated. In the movie, Quỳnh Anh doesn’t receive much in return for her sacrifices, whereas I wouldn’t allow that to happen to me.

Back when I first fell in love, I experienced intense emotions, loving wholeheartedly to the point of “living and dying” for it. Now, I still love, but not as passionately.

Quỳnh Anh sacrifices a lot for her family, husband, and children—something sacred. But I believe women should also love themselves and never forget their self-worth.

If you sacrifice everything without receiving anything in return, eventually, you might lose both love and yourself.

Quỳnh Anh, played by Miss Viet Nam Tiểu Vy in “The Fab Four,” is a woman who sacrifices everything for love.

Do you have an ideal man in mind?

– My ideal partner would be a successful man with influence in society and his family.

Whether he’s wealthy or not, I’m not sure, but what matters most is that he’s talented and ambitious. Because when someone has talent and determination, success will follow.

Are you worried about staying single because your standards are too high?

– I do worry sometimes! But I believe that when you’re capable, talented, and successful, you’ll meet the right person at the right time.

I’m open to love. However, I haven’t met anyone truly suitable to start a relationship with yet.

Can you share your plans and goals for this year?

– I hope The Fab Four will help establish my name in the acting field. I also want to take time to reflect on what I’ve achieved and what I still need to improve, so I can plan better for future projects.

Regarding my personal life, I used to think I’d be married by this age. Seeing friends around me getting married sometimes makes me anxious.

But now, I feel my acting career has just begun, so I want to focus on work and put personal matters aside for now.

> If you sacrifice everything and receive nothing in return, eventually, you might lose both love and yourself.

“No One Writes ‘Beauty Queen’ as Their Profession”

What special reason made you accept the role in “The Fab Four”? Was it because the movie is produced by Trấn Thành?

– Trấn Thành is incredibly talented and intelligent, and I think many people agree. However, it wasn’t just because of him that I accepted the role. I also trust the projects he produces.

He has a knack for discovering and nurturing hidden talents, helping them shine in acting. I hoped I’d be one of those talents he recognized and helped grow further.

As you’ve seen, actors like Phương Anh Đào, Tuấn Trần, and Song Luân… when they join Trấn Thành’s projects, they deliver outstanding performances.

Watching them act, I was completely absorbed into their characters, even forgetting they were my colleagues. They fully immersed themselves in their roles, making the audience focus solely on the story and the values Trấn Thành wanted to convey.

That truly inspired me to join this film.

Do you feel pressured being called Trấn Thành’s new “muse”?

– The biggest pressure is not letting myself feel pressured. If you feel pressured, you won’t be able to work well with Trấn Thành. When collaborating with him, the key is to stay relaxed and natural because only then can you fully unleash your acting potential.

In fact, landing a role in The Fab Four was a huge honor for me. It’s also the result of seven years of relentless effort. To become an actor in this film, I auditioned, trained, and worked hard to improve my acting skills and secure the role.

When I got the part, I felt immense pressure. Trấn Thành is a perfectionist and demanding, and to be chosen for his project, an actor must truly have talent.

So, when I was selected, I was both thrilled and nervous, constantly thinking about how to perform well and prove to Trấn Thành that his choice was right.

Previously, I’ve participated in several projects, and I’ve always pursued acting seriously—it’s not just a fleeting experience.

If I viewed this as just a casual endeavor, I probably would’ve quit a long time ago instead of continuing to audition and strive to improve myself. I’m putting in a lot of effort and taking acting seriously, and this is just an important milestone in a long journey ahead.

Lately, many beauty queens have ventured into acting. Is it because the pageant world is saturated, so they’re shifting to new fields?

– If all beauty queens were transitioning to acting, then maybe that’s true. But in reality, beauty queens have many options—they can start families, sing, or go into business. I think some beauty queens entering the acting world simply feel it suits them and want to explore this field.

Being a beauty queen is just a title, but everyone still needs their own career. When filling out forms, no one writes “beauty queen” as their profession. The title is an opportunity for personal growth and finding the most suitable career path.

Thank you, Miss Viet Nam Tiểu Vy, for sharing your thoughts!
