Sáng on February 3rd, the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee organized a meeting to announce important decisions regarding the establishment, dissolution, and reorganization of party organizations. During this event, the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee’s Standing Committee decided to establish the Party Committee of Party Organizations under the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, directly under the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, with 30 grassroots party organizations and 3,252 party members.
Mr. Nguyễn Thanh Nghị Appointed as Secretary of the Party Committee
Mr. Nguyễn Thanh Nghị, a Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party and the Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, has been appointed as the Secretary of the Party Committee of Party Organizations in Ho Chi Minh City for the term 2020-2025. With his experience and credibility, Mr. Nghị is expected to lead the Party Committee in successfully completing assigned tasks.

Deputy Secretaries of the Party Committee of Party Organizations in Ho Chi Minh City
The positions of Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Party Organizations in Ho Chi Minh City have been assigned to outstanding individuals, including:
- Ms. Nguyễn Thị Lệ, Chairwoman of the People’s Council of Ho Chi Minh City.
- Mr. Nguyễn Mạnh Cường, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.
- Ms. Lê Thị Hồng Nga, Secretary of the Party Committee of Central Agencies in Ho Chi Minh City.
Establishment of the Inspection Committee of the Party Committee
The Inspection Committee of the Party Committee of Party Organizations in Ho Chi Minh City consists of six members. Ms. Lê Thị Hồng Nga, Secretary of the Party Committee of Central Agencies in Ho Chi Minh City, was appointed as the Chairperson of the Inspection Committee. Mr. Nguyễn Văn Phúc, Chairperson of the Inspection Committee of the Department of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs, serves as Vice-Chairperson.
Establishment of the Party Committee of the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City
The Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee’s Standing Committee also decided to establish the Party Committee of the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, directly under the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, comprising 51 grassroots party organizations and 6,924 party members. The Party Committee of the People’s Committee includes 30 members, with the Party Committee’s Executive Board consisting of 11 people.
Chairman of the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Phan Văn Mãi, assumes the role of Secretary of the Party Committee of the People’s Committee. Mr. Dương Ngọc Hải, Permanent Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, serves as the Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee. Other Deputy Secretaries include Mr. Trần Văn Nam, Secretary of the Party Committee of Civil, Political, and Mass Organizations, and Mr. Ngô Thành Tuấn, Secretary of the Party Committee of Enterprises.
