New Year’s Concert 2025: Spring Melodies from Hanoi Flag Tower

Welcoming the year of the Rabbit 2025, the New Year’s Concert has become a special cultural event, offering familiar musical pieces that evoke love for homeland and country. This event is part of the Hanoi Tet 2025 program organized by Hanoi Radio and Television, promising memorable musical experiences.

Special Performance Space at Hanoi Flag Tower

Unlike previous years, the New Year’s Concert 2025 is held at the Hanoi Flag Tower (also known as the Victory Monument) on Dien Bien Phu Street, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi. This sacred historical site, an iconic symbol of the capital and the nation, has stood proudly for over 200 years, creating a unique and meaningful performance space.

Large-Scale Event with 60 Artists

This year, the New Year’s Concert 2025 features 60 talented artists. The symphony orchestra, combined with instruments such as cellos, pianos, flutes, guitars, and saxophones, promises to deliver a spectacular and visually stunning musical feast for the audience.

Timeless Spring Melodies

The concert opens with the song Vietnam My Homeland by composer Do Nhuận, expressing deep love for the homeland. Following this, audiences will enjoy classic spring pieces like: Tiny Spring (Tran Hoan), Spring in My Hometown (Hoai Mai), Spring Has Come, Dear (Tran Chung), Tet in My Village (Tu Huy), and Spring Chorus (Quoc Dung).

Additionally, the program includes songs rich in Hanoi’s culture, such as Spring in Rice and Flower Villages (Ngoc Khuê) and Hanoi Spring (Van Ky), creating a distinct Tet atmosphere of the capital city.

The New Year’s Concert 2025 will be broadcast at 8 AM on January 29 (the first day of Tet) on Channel H1, the website hanoionline.vn, the Hanoi On app, and other digital platforms of Hanoi Radio and Television. This is an opportunity for audiences nationwide to welcome the new year with emotionally resonant spring melodies.
