Ms. Ha Thi Hue (Yen Nghia, Ha Dong) shared that she and her family decided to use the electric train to travel to downtown Hanoi to visit relatives. “This is the first time we tried the electric train during Tet, and it was very comfortable as we didn’t have to worry about traffic jams or pollution,” she said.

Mr. Vu Hai (La Khe, Ha Dong) enjoyed both his Tet outing and scenic views while calling friends and family to wish them a happy new year. “I find this mode of transport ideal for seniors like us, as our health no longer allows us to ride motorcycles,” he shared.
Special Timetable During Tet
During Tet, the urban railway timetable is adjusted flexibly to meet the travel needs of the public. Specifically:
- January 29 (First Day of Tet): Service starts at 10 AM and ends at 10 PM. From 10 AM to 6 PM, trains run every 10 minutes; from 6 PM to 10 PM, trains run every 15 minutes.
- January 30 (Second Day of Tet): Service starts at 8 AM and ends at 10 PM.
- January 31 (Third Day of Tet): Service starts at 6 AM and ends at 10 PM.
- February 1 (Fourth Day of Tet): Returns to regular operations.
The special Tet schedule applies to both urban railway lines.
