The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting announced that cold air has affected several areas in Northern and North-Central Vietnam.
According to forecasts, the northeastern region will continue to experience cold weather, with some mountainous areas seeing severe cold. The lowest temperatures in this cold spell in the northeastern region are expected to range from 14-17°C, with mountainous areas dropping below 13°C.
In Hanoi, the coming days will bring cold weather accompanied by light rain. The lowest temperatures in the capital during this cold spell are expected to range from 15-17°C.
Over the past two days, residents of Hanoi and many parts of northern Vietnam have clearly felt the humid and damp weather.
The meteorological agency reported that from now until February 22, northern Vietnam will be affected by two additional waves of cold air reinforcement.

Hanoi: Overcast with scattered light rain. Cold weather. Lowest temperatures 15-17°C; highest temperatures 19-21°C.
Northwestern Region: Overcast with scattered rain and light rain at night and in the morning; western areas may see light rain in a few places, with partly sunny skies in the afternoon. Cold weather, with some areas experiencing severe cold.
Lowest temperatures 15-18°C; highest temperatures 18-21°C, while western areas reach 24-27°C.
Northeastern Region: Overcast with scattered rain and light rain at night and in the morning. Cold weather, with some mountainous areas experiencing severe cold.
Lowest temperatures 14-17°C, with mountainous areas dropping below 13°C; highest temperatures 18-21°C.
Thanh Hóa to Huế: Overcast with scattered rain and light rain. Cold weather at night and early morning.

Central Highlands: Partly cloudy with isolated evening showers and thunderstorms, sunny during the day.
Lowest temperatures 18-21°C; highest temperatures 28-31°C.
Southern Region: Partly cloudy with isolated evening showers and thunderstorms, sunny during the day.
Lowest temperatures 23-26°C; highest temperatures 30-33°C, with some areas exceeding 33°C.
