According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, due to the influence of cold air, tonight and early morning on February 18, the northern and north-central regions of Vietnam will experience scattered light rain, with cold weather.
The forecast indicates that between the night of February 18-19, northern Vietnam will experience a weak reinforcement of cold air, causing light rain, drizzle, and scattered fog in many areas.
From the night of February 18, several areas in the northern and north-central regions will be cold, with mountainous areas experiencing significant cold. Meanwhile, the central region from February 19 will see scattered showers.
The meteorological agency predicts that the current humid weather in Hanoi and other parts of northern Vietnam may last until the end of this week.
Looking further ahead, meteorologists predict another reinforcement of cold air around February 22-23.
