The Role of Exemplary Party Members
Throughout its leadership of the nation, the Communist Party of Vietnam has played a crucial role in driving reforms and socio-economic development. The 14th National Congress of the Party, scheduled for early 2026, will mark new milestones, propelling the country into an era of robust growth.
Achieving these successes requires each party member to exemplify leadership in daily life and work, inspiring the people to follow their example.
Mr. Lê Văn Tu: A Shining Example of Dedication
This year marks the first time Mr. Lê Văn Tu and many residents of Tan Chau village celebrated Tet in their new homes at the resettlement area. Everyone is delighted to live in modern, well-equipped houses.
Born in 1961, Mr. Tu has been a party member for 42 years. Since joining the party, he has remained committed, continuously striving to learn and improve, becoming a model cadre trusted by the people, party committees, and local authorities. Raised and educated in Chu Phan commune, Mr. Tu volunteered for military service in 1979. After three years in the army, he returned home in 1983, built a family, and engaged in social work.
In 2009, Mr. Tu joined as the head of the inspection board at the cooperative, and in 2013, he was elected as the village head. Since 2015, he has served as the Secretary of the Tan Chau village branch. Over the years, Mr. Tu has been recognized as an exemplary party member, always enthusiastic and dedicated, actively promoting and mobilizing party members and villagers to implement party resolutions and state policies.
Ring Road 4 Project: Challenges and Successes
Since 2022, under the directives of Hanoi City, Me Linh district, and Chu Phan commune, Mr. Tu and other party members have convened to develop specific resolutions to lead the implementation of the Ring Road 4 project, achieving high consensus among the villagers.
The Ring Road 4 project (through Tan Chau village, Chu Phan commune) spans 400 meters with over 13 hectares of land to be reclaimed, including approximately 2.5 hectares of residential land affecting nearly 160 households. Mr. Tu’s family alone has nearly 800 square meters (including land, housing, auxiliary structures, and fruit gardens) that need to be reclaimed.
Upon learning about the land clearance plan for the Ring Road 4 project, Mr. Tu initially felt anxious as his property was within the designated area. However, recognizing the significance and importance of the project, he led by example, encouraging his family to pioneer the full handover of their land for the project.
With nearly 100 households needing relocation and resettlement, Mr. Tu personally visited every household, explaining the government’s compensation policies and the benefits of the resettlement area. His dedication and exemplary conduct have inspired most of the villagers in Tan Chau to agree to hand over their land.
Conclusion
Mr. Lê Văn Tu is a shining example of dedication and commitment to both his work and the community. His story underscores the critical role of grassroots party members in persuading and mobilizing people to support local development policies.
