He passed away at 12:23 PM on January 29th (the first day of the lunar new year in the Year of the Rabbit) after a long battle with a serious illness.

Throughout his career, Mr. Phạm Trọng Duy held several important positions in Trực Ninh District. In March 2023, he was elected as the Chairman of the People’s Committee of Trực Ninh District for the term 2021-2026.
