U22 Philippines defeats U22 Indonesia 1-0
In the second match of the women’s football event at SEA Games 33, held in Chonburi on the evening of December 8, the Vietnam women’s national team suffered a painful 0-1 defeat against the Philippines. The only goal conceded by Coach Mai Duc Chung’s side came in the 90+4 minute, scored by Mallie Ramirez.

Meanwhile, the Philippines rekindled their hopes after losing 1-2 to Myanmar in their opening match. They need a convincing win against Malaysia in their final match to improve their goal difference.

The two final matches of Group B in women’s football at SEA Games 33, between Vietnam women’s team and Myanmar, and the Philippines against Malaysia, will both take place at 4:00 PM on December 11. The top two teams in the group will advance.
