A Prada ambassador, Nagano Mei (25), is facing allegations of an affair with actor Tanaka Kei (40), who is married with two children, according to Shukan Bunshun magazine.
On April 23, the Japanese magazine published evidence suggesting the affair, citing paparazzi photos of the couple frequently staying overnight at Nagano’s residence or hotels. Neither Nagano Mei’s nor Tanaka Kei’s agency has commented on the allegations.

Nagano Mei was appointed as a Prada brand ambassador in 2023, following her involvement in various events for the company.
This was confirmed by Prada’s 2023 list of global ambassadors, which also features Jeong Jaehyun, ENHYPEN, Kim Taeri, Li Xian, Kentaro Sakaguchi, Cai Xukun, and Jeon Somi.
The Japanese actress made a strong impression at the Prada Spring/Summer 2025 collection launch in Milan, Italy, in September 2024. Her modern and elegant style impressed fashion enthusiasts.

The allegations against Nagano Mei surfaced just over a month after the affair scandal involving actor Kim Soo Hyun, another Prada ambassador. This has raised questions about Prada’s public response to these scandals.
This is not the first time Prada ambassadors have been involved in private life controversies. Prior to Kim Soo Hyun and Nagano Mei, other Prada ambassadors such as Irene, Chanyeol, Zheng Shuang, and Li Yifeng have also faced public criticism, generating significant industry buzz in Asia.
Following the departures of these controversial ambassadors, Prada recently acquired Versace from Capri Holdings (owners of Michael Kors and Jimmy Choo) for over $1.3 billion.
Initial reports by Reuters estimated the deal at $1.6 billion but Prada’s CEO, Andrea Guerra, successfully negotiated a lower price.
