On February 7, Major Nguyễn Văn Thanh, Deputy Station Chief of Krông Búk Traffic Police Station under the Dak Lak Provincial Traffic Police Department, reported that his unit used a specialized vehicle to promptly and safely transport a pregnant woman from a bus to the hospital.
According to Major Thanh, on the evening of February 6, a traffic control patrol team was performing duties to ensure traffic order and safety on the Ho Chi Minh Highway, near Cuôr Đăng commune, Cư M’gar district.
At around 8:55 PM, the driver of a Tan Niên bus traveling from Gia Lai to Ho Chi Minh City suddenly stopped at the location where the patrol team was working and informed them that a female passenger had her water break and was in labor, requiring immediate assistance.

Upon receiving the information, the traffic police swiftly utilized a specialized vehicle to transport the pregnant woman and her husband to Thiện Hạnh General Hospital in Buon Ma Thuot city for emergency care.
It is known that the 20-year-old pregnant woman and her husband were traveling on the bus from Gia Lai to Ho Chi Minh City and experienced signs of labor while passing through Dak Lak province.

“After ensuring the safe arrival of the pregnant woman at the hospital, our team returned to their positions to continue maintaining traffic safety. This morning, some officers from the Krông Búk Traffic Police Station will visit the hospital to慰问和鼓励产妇及其家人,” Major Thanh shared.
